At FareHarbor, I helped ship features by getting to know our users — running research sessions, observing pain points, and turning those insights into clear personas, flows, and prototypes. I led our usability testing efforts and the building out of a new design library in Figma, increasing consistancy throughout our growth and further increased user ease-of-use in the highly capable and customizable software.
We created software that helps tourism and activity companies — everyone from shark-diving tours to local bike rentals — run their businesses more smoothly. Designing for such a wide range of users keeps things interesting (and sometimes tricky), but that variety is what made the work fun.
I worked on everything from the less glamorous but critical features like customizable tax settings for international operators, to more creative ones like venue mapping and seat allocation tools, providing the first of its kind fuctionality in our industry.
Overall, it was a great experience, with genuinely great people who make every project and day a chance to learn something new. Thanks ya’ll ☺️
